Workshop on LOD organised by the Horizon 2020 research project OpenGovIntelligence
An NTTS 2017 satellite session; Brussels 16 March 2017 (18:30-20:30)
Linked Open Data is an area being studied by the European Statistical System (ESS), and is dealt with in depth in one of the strands of the ESS Vision 2020 project DIGICOM.
In this workshop, linked open statistical data will be briefly introduced along with a short presentation of the OpenGovIntelligence project. The main aim of the workshop is to inform participants and also facilitate them exploring and exploiting statistical data using linked open data technologies and tools that are developed within the project.
Preparation needed
At the core of this satellite session, participants will be able to try out the OpenGovIntelligence tools themselves, using their own hardware. The only preparations needed by the participants to benefit from the hands-on part is to bring their own (wifi-enabled) laptop.
