8th SDMX Global Conference

Abot the event 

The SDMX Global Conference is a bi-annual event for the SDMX community to share information on recent and upcoming developments. The target audience includes compilers and users of official statistics including national and international agencies, academia, and the private sector.

This year, the 8th SDMX Global Conference will be held virtually from 27 to 30 September 2021. The conference will consist of four half-day virtual sessions (Mexico City morning time).


The conference will be hosted by the Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía of Mexico (INEGI) in close collaboration with the seven SDMX Sponsor agencies (BIS, ECB, Eurostat, IMF, UN, OECD, and the World Bank Group) and the Inter-American Development Bank.

Call for presentations — deadline 25 June 2021

The organisers are inviting participants with successful SDMX implementation experience to propose items to be presented at the conference. They are calling for presentations related to your experience in implementing and using SDMX, in particular:

• Success stories and lessons learned to showcase the benefits of SDMX.

• Use cases of SDMX for data collection, data exchange, and data dissemination.

• Development of SDMX tools and platforms.

• Integration of SDMX in the business architecture.

• User experience in consuming SDMX data.
