At the Palais des Nations in Geneva from 10 to 12 October 2018

The objective of this workshop is to identify innovative ways and best practices in statistical data collection, and to provide a platform for practitioners to exchange experiences and foster collaboration in this area. In addition to the more traditional presentations, the agenda of the workshop will include target-driven small group discussions to identify best practices and new opportunities.

EMOS webinars on official statistics start on 10 January

European Master in Official Statistics (EMOS) is back with new webinar series. The 2018 EMOS webinar progamme covers topics on production and dissemination of official statistics in 12 sessions of 60 minutes each. The programme will be running roughly twice a month on Wednesdays 16:15–17:30 CET from January to June 2018  with speakers from Eurostat, EMOS Master programmes, National Statistical Institutes as well as Central Banks.

Q2018 conference in Poland (26–29 June 2018) call for papers – abstract submission deadline 15 December 2017

The next European Conference on Quality in Official Statistics will take place in Krakow from 27 to 29 June 2018. Like its predecessors, the Q2018 conference will offer participants a platform for high-level discussions on many diverse quality issues in official statistics, as well as to exchange methods and good practices between experts in different areas from different institutions (statistical offices, international organisations, researchers and academics).
