Survey 1: This is a household survey with a partly one-stage, partly two-stage probability sample of dwellings. Apart from attrition, the 2-4th quarterly samples are the same as the first quarter's sample. In the annual sample each household can appear 1-4 times. Unit non-response is handled with the ordinary integrated calibration to known population totals. Due to the war in Ukraine, the questionnaire survey on the Ukrainian border is suspended from the end of February 2022. Because of the above, the estimate for the year is not based on total visitor traffic (excluding the Ukrainian border section). The reliability of the published data has decreased and those are only to a limited extent comparable to the data of previous periods. Imputatation rates are as follows: Accommodation, Catering (32%), Transport (59%), Travel agency (55%), Others (35%). |
