Data and metadata are transmitted to Eurostat by the Member States in the framework of the Unified Demographic Data Collection which is in accordance with Regulation (EC) 862/2007 and Regulation (EU) 1260/2013 and their implementing regulations. This Euro SDMX Metadata Structure is used for the purpose of quality reporting. The definition of the quality concepts and guidelines are described in the European Statistical System Handbook for Quality Reports. |

The data are collected on the RA Law on "Official Statistics" and "Five Year Statistical Program", as well as the Resolution No. 05-N of RA State Council on Statistics "On Approval of the procedure for the collection of Statistical Data" dated 20 June 2016 and Resolution "On Approval of Annual Statistical Peogram". Memorandum of cooperation, dated 03.04.2015 which was signed between the RA Minister of Justice and the President of Statistical Committee of RA “On providing data from common electronic management system of Civil Acts Registration to the Armstat as well as due to State Statistical Work Program, to make available summary statistical data to the RA Ministry of Justice. RA Government Decision N 1333-Ն, 22.09.2011 “Approval of the Procedure for Submission of Data from Information System of the State Population Register to the National Statistical Service of the Republic of Armenia”. |

RA Law “on official Statistics”/ CHAPTER 7. STATISTICAL CONFIDENTIALITY Article 23. Data Subject to Statistical Confidentiality Principle. Individual data subject to confidentiality principle are those that allow or may allow to identify statistical units, either directly or indirectly, thereby disclosing individual information (https://armstat.am/file/doc/99514643.pdf). The principle of statistical confidentiality is also applied for aggregates composed of 1 to 3 units. |

7.2. Confidentiality - data treatment | |||
The confidentiality of the statistical indicators requested by users and as well as subject to the publication is strictly followed not to contain individual (personal) data (Resolution No 53 of the State Council on Statistics on the “Approval of the Order on Protection of Statistical Confidentiality” dated 25 June 2001). |

8.1. Release calendar | |||
Quarterly indicators are published on the 35/36th day following the reference period and the annual indicators are published in the 4th quarter of the year following the reference period. Armstat " Statistical Indicators Release Calendar" includes in advance the date when statistical data should be published yearly, by month and includes a list of planned indicators from January 1 to December 31 of the current year, in line with the annual release calendar, which is publicly available. There have been no reported violations of the publication deadline: If the end of any job falls on a non-working day, it is considered the end of the job the next business day, with the period ending on the last day of the month (eg 35/36) for work - the last business day of the end of the month. |

The main users of the statistical information are the state government and local self-government bodies, public, scientific and educational, financial organizations, business society, mass media, international organizations, etc. Information on deaths, births, marriages and divorces is applied in the field of social-demographic security for the purpose of strategy development, solutions of strategic tasks, analysis of business environment, revealing social development trends and other purposes. |

User needs are studied through working discussions, comments on draft statistical programs, through the "User Satisfaction Survey" questionnaire available at the Armstat website/ https://www.armstat.am/en/?nid=13/. New indicators are included in Armstat Annual Statistical Program by priority or reduced if necessary, taking into account the results of analyses and the opportunities and importance of data collection. Armstat annual statistical program is developed based on a study of demand of users of statistical information. |

According to Art 4 (2) of the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 205/2014, each year Member States shall provide the Commission (Eurostat) with data at national and regional level as described in Annex II and related standard reference metadata ( In the metadata structure definition defined for the Euro SDMX Metadata Structure) for the reference year within 12 months of the end of the reference year. According to Art 3 (2) of the Commission Regulation (EU) No 862/2007, Statistics on international migration, usually resident population and acquisition of citizenship shall be supplied to the Commission (Eurostat) within 12 months of the end of the reference year. |
