Eggs for consumption are fresh eggs in shell intended for human consumption. Production of eggs is the total quantity of eggs produced during calendar year expressed in million eggs. Eggs producer is an agricultural holding with laying hens producing eggs intended for human consumption for economic purpose. Number of laying hens is the total number of laying hens producing eggs for consumption on 31 December expressed in thousands of heads. |
