Data on egg production and the number of hens are collected within the annual sample survey on poultry production in agricultural holdings keeping poultry. |
|||
18.1.1. Description of data collection process | |||
The sample set is stratified according to size of holding, its specialisation and region. The stratum of holdings with at least 5,000 head of poultry is exhaustive. In total, 35 agricultural holdings with at least 5,000 laying hens were surveyed in 2018. |
