The data is comparable with other countries that report energy statistics to Eurostat, though many energy products are not available for comparison due to Iceland's reliance on renewable electricity and oil. Iceland does not report any data on energy from natural gas, nuclear energy or crude oil due to lack of those energy products in the territory.
