Information of administrative origin, for which all the records are processed.
Population estimates are the result of contrasting various records, from which the entire population is covered.
The creation of the statistical population register must guarantee integrity between all the sources defined in it, and resolve possible coverage errors.

Population, births, deaths, immigrants and emigrants are disseminated in integer numbers.

Once the validity of the received file is checked, certain variables are recoded and transformed. In a later phase, inconsistencies between variables are detected and corrected. After debugging, derived variables and result tables are obtained.

Please report on the data sources used for the first reference year and inform of any changes thereto,  to produce:

This is a summary statistic, compiled from results from different sources. Source data from the Parishes censuses.

Annual

The period of time between the availability of the data and the publication of the results is defined based on the time when the original information is received, in the treatment and analysis and its dissemination. Hence, on the one hand, work is being done with the rest of the collaborating organizations to reduce the time it takes to receive the information as much as possible. On the other hand, so the treatment and analysis work continuously by reducing the analysis time, promoting greater automation of the processes to be more efficient.

The data is comparable between parishes and between the rest of the countries of the European Union.

Please provide information on the length of comparable time series (indicate the first reference year for which data are availble), reference periods at which series occur, the reasons for the breaks and treatments of them.
