There are many factors which determine the price / rent of 1 hectare of grassland. The market price / rent of grassland depends mainly on:
The price / rent of grassland in a given commune is mostly determined both by the value which potential purchasers are able to pay and by the availability of the land. In communes where farmers run a very intensive economy and there are a few sellers, the prices of grassland are at a high level, regardless of its quality. It very often happens that the price / rent of low quality grassland in some commune is much higher than the price / rent of a very good quality grassland in another commune. |
