Primary data collection method 

Land prices data are based on administrative source submitted annually by the National Tax administration which includes all land transactions in the reference period.

In the FADN data collection, the farmer is asked about the amount he pays for the rented land. Such amount is registered in the respective questionnaire.

Administrative data from the National Tax administration is used to calculate land prices. To determine whether it is for agricultural purposes, data is linked with the Land Parcel Identification System and the latest statistical farm register.
