6. Accuracy and reliability Top
6.1. Accuracy - overall

Administrative data can also indicate certain inaccuracies, especially as earlier it is mentioned, “in case of obviously errors/irregularities clarification with the respective reporting units and data are adjusted bilaterally.”

6.2. Sampling error

Because the administrative data covers all sales of plant protection products in the country and all that administrative data is collected in a census format, sampling errors are irrelevant.

6.2.1. Sampling error - indicators

See above.

6.3. Non-sampling error

In case of obviously errors/irregularities clarification with the respective reporting units, data are adjusted bilaterally.

6.3.1. Coverage error

8. Coherence and comparability Top
8.1. Comparability - geographical

As reporting units are not obliged to breakdown the reported amounts by regions (NUTS2), the results are available on state level only (NUTS0).

8.1.1. Asymmetry for mirror flow statistics - coefficient

not applicable (administrative data)

8.2. Comparability - over time

As there is a demand for national purposes for the yearly publication "Green Report" of the Ministry of Sustainability and Tourism ("Grüner Bericht") timeseries are available for the main groups of AS or PPP.

8.6. Coherence - internal

As there is a demand for national purposes for the yearly publication named "Green Report" of the Ministry of Sustainability and Tourism ("Grüner Bericht") very similar data are available for the main groups of AS or PPP.
These national data differ slightly from the data provided within this present EC data set, because there are differences in classifying some AS or PPP to other subgroups than this EC regulation proposes.
The basic data are the same for both statistical products - for the national Green Report and for the EC sales statistics regarding Reg (EC) No. 1185/2009.
