Notes

· EU-25 comprises 25 Member States, the European Union Institutions and the European Central Bank.

· EU-15 comprises 15 Member States, the European Union Institutions and the European Central Bank.

· EU-25, EU-15 and euro-zone data do not include transactions between Member States, whereas individual Member States' data do.

· Until 2001, the National Bank of Belgium produced the balance of payments for Belgium and Luxembourg, BE/LU, as a whole.
