Promote better understanding and increased respect of fundamental rights and freedoms for all.
Improving basic and continuous health education, and improving the "health environment" (structures, electricity, water, equipment, drugs). The project also strengthens both the health district and the Emergency Obstetric Care (EmOC) System, and increases access to safe and potable water sources, environmental sanitation and hygiene facilities.
DEVCO – Unit B3 (Migration, Employment, Inequality) has produced a reference document on Vocational Education and Training for inclusive Growth in Development Cooperation. This document addresses the needs of EU staff working at headquarters and in delegations, and to national partners and donors engaged in promoting reforms in the vocational education and training (VET) sector. It is based on experience of support for the VET sector provided in the past by the European Union and its Member States.
