Ms. Thavee Yaknam from Surin province in Thailand is showing her System of Rice Intensification (SRI) experimental field. In 2014 she participated in a SRI training programme organised under the EU founded project. Soon she shifted from cultivating rice as per local practice, to managing her crop according to the principles of the SRI. She is now one of the farmer trainers who are leading farmer's participatory action research in Tha Tum district of Surin province.
