Addressing Inequality through EU Development Cooperation - Response to the 2030 Agenda, Conceptual & Measurement Framework for Addressing Inequality (Nov 2017)
Inequalities in child survival are amplifying according to a report published by Save the Children. There is nothing worst for a child than being born in a rural area, from a disadvantaged community with a low access to basic services. However, a true step change is possible. The Conference will allow discussion on child survival, types of inequality, gender and EU new policy.

Reducing structural economic and social inequality and discrimination; a cooperation priority
We cannot deliver sustainable development without tackling climate change and vice-versa. In societies where people are discriminated against based on gender, ethnicity or class, being a man or a woman is often a decisive factor in determining the levels of risk they face from climate shocks and the ability to adapt.
This paper discusses the evolution of poverty and inequality in Peru and attempts to integrate data from national surveys, and the 1993 and 2005 National Censuses. It also focuses on the last decade, during which most changes have occurred before assessing trends in poverty and inequality in Peru.
