Strategic evaluation of the EU cooperation with the occupied Palestinian Territory and support to the Palestinian people (2008-2013)

The EU has achieved a great deal sustaining welfare for Palestinians and preventing economic collapse, however the EU Cooperation had little impact on the main obstacles to achieving the Two-State solution. The EU goals have been seriously hampered by "binding constraints", the most significant being the Israeli restrictions of occupation and resource allocation to settlements, but also Palestinian political divisions and the absence of democratic process.
