Strengthening good governance and democratic process in National Climate Change Adaptation Planning

The project covers two types of activities:

  • Capacity and Networking: activities include training on climate change adaptation concepts, practices and policies; vulnerability and capacity assessment and proposed adaptation measures in selected sites as case studies; platform for knowledge-sharing and exchange and establishing network with environment Civil Society Organisations.
  • Influencing National Adaptation Plan (NAP) Process: through engaging with formal NAP mechanism, establishing participatory mechanism/process and policy dialogues; establishing monitoring mechanism/process (developing indicators, conduct evaluations and review results); and developing knowledge products and disseminating advocacy materials (participatory, good governance, inclusion and representation in national climate change adaptation planning).
