Improving the lives of vulnerable ethnic people in Longsane District

The objective of this project was to contribute to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) 1, 3 and 7 by improving the livelihood and health of poor households in rural areas of Vientiane province, Lao PDR.

Specific ojectives were the following:

  • Increased food security, household income and pure drinking water of 13 rural communities in Khonvath village cluster of Hom district.
  • Improved ACTD staff’s capacity in project planning and management, and provide better services to vulnerable ethnic farmers by expanding of previous project achievements.
