Ghana Anti-Corruption, Rule of Law and Accountability Programme (Ghana-ARAP)

Ghana Anti-Corruption, Rule of Law and Accountability Programme (Ghana-ARAP)

The specific objective of this programme is to contribute to current reform processes in the area of rule of law, accountability, anti-corruption and environmental governance. This will be done through support to key institutions, and by increasing public organisations, civil society and the media to hold government accountable for these sector reforms.

The programme has two interlinked and mutually supportive key results:

  • Accountability is enhanced, leading to increased accountability, a reduction in corruption and increased environmental governance.
  • Compliance with and respect of the rule of law is improved, particularly in the areas of accountability and anti-corruption.
