Use of mobile phones / tablets for evaluation in Fragile and Conflict-Affected Countries

In fragility and conflict, ICTs offer creative solutions to compensate for the lack of face-to-face interactions - but it also carries new risks. The speaker will present his experience in gathering, analyzing and disseminating evaluative evidence generated by using mobile phones and tablets in some of the worst conflict-affected countries. Then, he will illustrate the most recent work of the EvalFCV (TIG on evaluation in the context of Fragility, Conflict and Violence) in IDEAS. This conference is part of a series presenting the use of innovative methodologies to conduct evaluations in hard-to-reach areas; download the presentation paper of the cycle Here
