InfoPoint Lunchtime conference: Climate Change, Disasters and Human Mobility

InfoPoint Lunchtime conference: Climate Change, Disasters and Human Mobility

Every year, millions of people are forced to leave their homes because of floods, tropical storms, droughts, glacier melting, earthquakes and other natural hazards. Due to changes in the environment, more and more people will migrate in coming years, in particular within and between developing countries. The presentation draws from two projects “Migration, environment and climate change: Evidence for policy” (MECLEP) and “Climate change and displacement: Building an evidence base and equipping States with tools and guidance for action”.
