EU Emergency Trust Fund for Africa

In the context of the recently signed peace agreement, this project will facilitate the return of internally displaced persons in South Sudan to their areas of origin, through support to increased access to education and teacher training.
It will do so by increasing equal access to primary and secondary education, improving rates of retention and completion, and increasing teacher attendance.
This action aims at facilitating the return of internally displaced persons inside South Sudan from protection camps to their areas of origin. It will do so by increasing access to, utilisation of and quality of health services (namely maternal and child health) countrywide. Additionally, it will strengthen core local administrative systems to increase the efficacy of health services, and engage with local communities to integrate these interventions into existing community structures.
