DCI - Global Public Goods and Challenges (GPGC)

Investment in education and training for skills development is essential to boost growth and competitivness: skills determine Europe's capacity to increase productivity. In the long-term, skills can trigger innovation and growth.
This Annual Action Programme 2014 sets out measures to implement the Human Development component of the Global Public Goods and Challenges (GPGC) programme in accordance to the Multi-annual Indicative Programme 2014-2020 and on the basis of the DCI Regulation.  The programme 2014 covers education, health and private sector involvement in development with specific actions controlling communicable diseases, promoting equal access to quality education for all and trade for development.
