The Centre de Formation Agricole Frère Remy is a vocational training center for the capacity development and empowerment of young people in the fields of agriculture and farming.
The overall objective of the programme is to contribute to poverty reduction in Africa in the context of sustainable development through support to private sector led inclusive green growth which fosters transformation towards green economy. SWITCH Africa Green is being implemented in 6 countries: Burkina Faso, Ghana, Kenya, Mauritius, South Africa and Uganda.
The project is implemented by Tropenbos International (TBI), Tropenbos Ghana (TBI Ghana), Nature and Development Foundation (NDF), Volunteers to Support International Efforts in Developing Africa (VOSIEDA), Groupe National de Travail pour la Gestion durable des Forets et Certification Forestiers en Cote d’ Ivoire (GNT-CI).
The Pro-Resilience Action (PRO-ACT 2015) will revitalize and build resilience of food systems in rural areas which have been hard hit by the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) crisis and ensuing failure of markets for crop produce and inputs. As such, the overall objective of the Action is to improve the food and nutrition security status of vulnerable population groups. More tangibly, the specific objective (outcome) of the Action is to enhance the capacities of vulnerable groups to improve their food crises resilience and sustainably produce and access food.

The objective is to support the public administration reform. The action focuses on the professionalization of the civil service, modernisation of human resources management, and improvement of quality management tools of public services delivery.

Larger than Elephants - Regional Analysis sets out the scale of the crisis that Africa faces due to the threat to ecosystems, natural resources and wildlife. It examines lessons learnt from past conservation efforts and identifies priority areas for future action. It has been produced in close concertation with the conservation community and Africa specialists. This full Regional Analysis follows a Synthesis report published in 2015.
The Annual Programme 2015 Part III sets out measures to implement the Human Development component of the Global Public Goods and Challenges (GPGC) programme in accordance with the Multi-annual Indicative Programme 2014-2020 and on the basis of the DCI Regulation.  Part III covers actions for thematic areas: health, the protection of women's and girls' rights, social inclusion, social protection and decent work.
The study sets out the scale of the crisis that Africa faces due to the threat to ecosystems, natural resources and wildlife; examines lessons learnt from past conservation efforts, and identifies priority areas for future action. It has been produced in close concertation with the conservation community and Africa specialists. This synthesis report will be supplemented by further detailed chapters during 2016.
