Check out the job opportunities showcased by Estonia’s upcoming job day
Love the great outdoors? If so then maybe you should think of working in Estonia, rated one of the 10 greenest countries on earth by the Environmental Performance Index. If the idea of taking up a job in a country boasting great career opportunities, a good quality of life and a dramatic natural environment grabs you, then check out the European (Online) Job Day. Hosted by EURES Estonia, in cooperation with the Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund and Work in Estonia, the event will be held online on 11 November between 11am – 3pm, Central European Time.
EURES Adviser Kyllike Heide, based in Tallinn, says, ‘The job fair gives a unique chance to get in touch with successful Estonian companies, chat directly with employers, apply for vacancies and even have an online interview.’
As a jobseeker you will be able to search and apply for jobs that match your profile, make contact with employers and book one or more online job interviews during the event. To do that, you need to register in advance.
‘During the event our EURES team will be online, helping with the interviews and answering questions about Estonia. We also plan to have at least one presentation about living and working in Estonia,’ says Kyllike.
If you are still wondering whether to save the date in your diary, it’s worth considering that last year’s event brought together 23 successful Estonian IT and engineering companies looking to fill over 120 vacancies. More than 1 000 jobseekers visited the fair and 60 individual chats were held with employers and EURES Advisers. Numbers look set to remain as strong this year.
Last year’s event focused on the ITC sector, this year the focus is broader and organisers welcome interest from different sectors engineers, customer support specialists, travel consultants etc. Around 20 employers will be on board when the event starts and if you want to make sure your company is represented, then register here.
