The general retirement age is 65 in the EU, but this is set to change. Denmark, France, Germany and Spain have decided to raise the retirement age to 67, while the goal is 68 in Britain and Ireland. In most countries these increases will be seen in the 2020s. Many people are already working longer, changing their career or going part time to suit their needs.
