Study visit to the United Kingdom 18th – 20th March 2019
Hand-outs from the visit:
DAY 1 - Interactive session with John Mortimer. John presented public sector learning from England over the last few years and discussed a person-centred design: what that is and how it can be developed for any local government service.
DAY 2 - On Tuesday we spent the whole day on a unique conference #NextStageRadicals on piloting quite radically new approaches to public services and policies, including new models of public service, organising, commissioning, regulation. One of the key contributors was Jeremy Cox whom you might remember from our meeting in Bratislava.
Detailed programme is still here: https://www.thersa.org/globalassets/pdfs/next-stage-health.pdf
The follow up on the event is on the Blog of Andy Brogan, incl. posting videos of the presentations, some reflections from Andy and others who attended.
More on the co-organisers, the RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce), could be found at RSA webpage.
The slides from the conference are available here: https://www.thersa.org/globalassets/pdfs/next-stage-health-presentation.pdf
Have a look through the delegates list for anyone you didn’t get a chance to connect with: https://www.thersa.org/globalassets/pdfs/next-stage-health-delegates.pdf
And you can keep the conversation going on twitter using #NextStageRadicals.
DAY 3 - A half-day visit to Nesta, an innovation foundation that backs new ideas to tackle the big challenges of our time, from the pressures of an ageing population to stretched public services and a fast changing job market. We met following people in Nesta:
