The 9th meeting of the ESF Thematic Network on Partnership was hosted by German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs in Berlin on 14th and 15th May 2018.
At the meeting participants were learning about German social enterprises (Social Impact Lab and TeachSurfing) and their way of working through partnership. The study visit was organised to Berlin district of Neukölln where projects of Neukölln City Hall on integration of migrants from South and East Europe were presented. The distinct feature of Neukölln’s approach to migrant integration is their wide network of partnership between public authorities and NGOs. Participants had the opportunity to witness in person the working space of the project EU Fit In that provides community support to people with migrant and socially vulnerable backgrounds through childcare service and other family activities.
Participants also took part in the training on resilience, through which they could share challenges they are facing in their work on the ESF transnationality and were able to reflect on objectives for overcoming the obstacles.
As part of the ongoing work the network gathered final comments on the Review of the European Code of Conduct on Partnership (ECCP) before finalisation and dissemination of the document.
