EEG Open Meeting on the next EU funding regulations

EEG Open Meeting on the next EU funding regulations

03/06/2018

The open meeting of the European Expert Group on the Transition from Institutional to Community-based Care (EEG) will take place in the afternoon of 3 July 2018 in Berlaymont, Rue de la Loi 200, Brussels. The meeting will bring together representatives from the European Commission, EU national governments and Permanent Representations, as well as civil society organisations and intergovernmental organisations.

The open meeting aims to discuss how EU funding, especially the European Social Fund  Plus (ESF+) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), can continue supporting and further investing in the transition from institutional to community-based care. It will also take stock of what has been done in the 2014-2020 period and gather what lessons were learnt that could feed into the post-2020 funding regulations.

In the meantime, please save the date and RSVP to express your interest in participating to Ms Laura Marchetti at: eeg.coordination@gmail.com.

The EEG is a broad coalition gathering stakeholders representing people with care or support needs and their families, including children, people with disabilities, homeless people, people experiencing mental health problems; as well as service providers, public authorities and intergovernmental organisations.
