250 delegates from across Europe have participated in the biannual meeting of the INFORM-INIO, that was held from 26 to 28 November 2019 in Ghent, Belgium.

This event, which is jointly organised by Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (REGIO) and Employment, Social Affairs & Inclusion (EMPL), has been a great opportunity to discuss challenges and opportunities of communicating the Cohesion policy.

The event was organised with the invaluable support of the Flemish Government and of the City of Ghent.

A workshop focussing on the future of the ESF + communication took place on 28 November.

The INIO meeting included key highlights from Loris Di Pietrantonio, who is responsible of the ESF Unit at DG Employment and Tina Zournatzi, head of strategic communication at DG COMM.
