Scope note

A scope note in ESCO is used for disambiguation. Therefore, it directs the users:

  • to similar concepts that are considered as included in the scope
  • to alternative concepts that are excluded from it. In this case it provides hyperlinks to other ESCO concepts.

A scope note is sometimes provided in addition to the description.
