About Public Employment Service of Finland
The Public Employment Service (PES) of Finland has completely implemented ESCO at a national level. They work with job seekers, employees and entrepreneurs personalising e-service for job matching. They offer services in Finnish, Swedish and English.
The PES in Finland offers matching services for both jobseekers and employers, based on ESCO.
Benefits of ESCO
- Matching the jobseekers’ profiles with the right job postings and vice versa
- ESCO provides a common language for the matching and is one part of the matching algorithm
- Jobseekers’ profiles use ESCO in describing the jobseeker’s skills, competence and occupation
