The School of Social Policy, Social Work & Social Justice at University College Dublin present their Annual Social Policy Public Lecture on the topic of "Poverty and Social Exclusion in the EU".

The lecture is being delivered by Professor Bea Cantillon, Professor of Social Policy & Director of the Herman Deleeck Centre for Social Policy, University of Antwerp.

Professor Cantillon has published widely and internationally on a range of issues relating to poverty, social policy, social security, the welfare state, and gender. She has acted as a consultant to, among others, the OECD, the European Commission and the Belgian government. Since 2013 she is a member of the commission on pension reform 2020-2040.

The lecture will be taking place on Thursday, 28th March at 4pm in the Irish Architectural Archive, 45 Merrion Square, Dublin 2. Reserve your tickets on Eventbrite here.
