Dogpatch Labs' Diversity In Tech Week are pleased to invite you to 'Allyship in Tech' taking place on Thursday, March 28th 6-9pm in the CHQ building, Custom House Quay, Dublin 1.
This will be a participatory, curated roundtable event where you will come away with the practical tools on how to foster an inclusive workplace - whether you're an early-stage startup or a scaling team.
We’ll be covering the topics our community really want to learn about including:
Inclusive Hiring: How to cultivate a diverse talent pipeline and an inclusive recruitment process
Flexible Working: How can small companies provide flexibility while maintaining control
Psychological Safety: What systems and policies can companies use to ensure everyone feels supported
Professional Development: What’s the difference between a “sponsor” and a “mentor”?
We’re keen to make this event far more than simply discussion about the theory of inclusion, but rather an interactive workshop focusing on the practicalities of fostering an inclusive workplace.
The evening has been designed to provide an opportunity for real dialogue in a safe setting, focusing in particular on the facilitated conversation between attendees, including startup founders & culture leads, tech ecosystem leaders, corporate executives and change activists.
