Transitions in the educational environment for ASD

Throughout life people with Autism struggle to cope with change. Transitions from one activity to another or from one environment to another create raised levels of anxiety and often difficulties with coping and increased behavioural difficulties. To be submitted: Erasmus+ KA201

Life Planning tools

Due to difficulties with imagination processing, it can be difficult for people with ASD to plan ahead, to life plan, set goals and work toward fulfilment and reaching their full potential. A set of life planning tools, which can be used as young people are prepared to leave school. can assist the process. These would be person centered, with the individual at the centre, and able to voice their dreams and wishes - or in some cases with advocates speaking for them. To be submitted: Erasmus+ KA204

Enhancing Professional competences of teachers to deal with ADHD

The idea is focused on increasing teaching staff professional competences to ensure efficient work with students with ADHD. Explanation/reasoning: Students with ADHD often face increased problems of non-productive activity, impulsivity, lack of motivation, social behavior problems. The disorder has a negative impact on focus, self-control and other skills important in daily life, including those related to learning abilities. Without timely and purposeful socio-educational assistance, due to lack of self-regulation and inappropriate learning styles, students with ADHD achieve significantly lower learning outcomes than expected. The purpose of the Association:

Searcing for KA2 Adult Education's partners

Ceipes, a well-rooted Italian and European NGO based in Palermo-Sicily, is presently drafting the proposal for a KA2 Erasmus+ Project (Adult Education) in the field of the psycho-social needs of migrants, refugees and asylum seekers. The project sets out to create curricula on how to intervene on the main psychological trauma experienced by migrants by the means of theatre/drama therapy. Associations and possible partners having an expertise on migration/drama therapy/psychology/empowerment are welcome to get in contact.
