Professional development of staff

Within the Conference "PROFESSIONALISM CERTIFICATES: PRESENT AND FUTURE", organized by ANCCP (Spanish Association of Centers with Certificates of Professionalism) the 6th of October 2017 in Madrid, Foro Técnico de Formación, a partner in the project, has presented the Study of the incidence of students with ADHD and other learning disorders (+ Asperger Syndrome) and the outcomes and outputs of the 4QADHD Project (2016-1-BG01-KA202-023714). 

The third final workshop within the Project Model for Establishing the System of Accreditation Programmes for Continuing Professional Development of VET Teachers is held in Banjaluka, Bosnia and Herzegovina on October 17 to 19, 2017.

One day of this workshop was focused to define the priority areas in the professional development of VET teachers for the next three-year period. In addition to the members of the work group, teachers from eight vocational schools also participated in the work.

Since 2009, Aproximar has been investing in the creation of a mentoring model to support disadvantaged person to improve their social, personal and professional competences and to create conditions to increase their employability. This investment has reached PENDULUM model and MPATH project. Until January 2019, Aproximar will be dedicated in developing technical-pedagogical competences of own staff:

Teacher education

Using the European Portfolio for Student Teachers of Languages (EPOSTL)

This Training and Consultancy activity provides a forum for teacher educators wishing to introduce or optimise their use of the European Portfolio of Student Teachers of Languages (EPOSTL). Experiences of the practical implementation of the EPOSTL will be shared and issues underlying its competence descriptors will be explored.

A group of 20 prison staff from various parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina specialising in treatment and security of prisoners met in Mostar on 19 and 20 October to hone their skills in the delivery of specialised programmes of purposeful activities to prisoners under the framework of the Horizontal Facility for Western Balkans and Turkey ‘’Enhancing human rights protection for detained and sentenced persons’’.

"Migrants in Europe: Promoting Inclusion, Tolerance and Dialogue" is a KA1 staff mobility project promoted by Itaka training and financed by the Erasmus+ Italian National Agency. The project coordianted by Itaka trianing is implemented with a national consortium of other 6 Italian organizations: DEMOSTENE Centro Studi; Associazione Integrazioni Calabria; Liceo Tommaso Campanella; Sifi - Social Innovation for Inclusion; Insieme Coop. Sociale Onlus; Associazione La Mimosa; and Kairos Europe the UK training provider.
