Studies on implementation of newly acquired skills show that without support mechanisms, learning itself does not result in knowledge and new skills being used in the workplace. A research conducted by the Partners of “Extended Learning Support System (ELSS)” Project confirms employers and HR departments’ desire for a tool that would support implementation of training effects into the workplace. The respondents of the research agreed that such tool, available online, would help to grow their organizations.

Something has been set in motion in Berlin: Politicians have recognised that adult and continuing education must adapt to the age of digitalisation and that a new government stimulus is necessary to do so. This stimulus, called MILLA within the CDU fraction of the German Bundestag (Lower House of Parliament), is set to cost the government between one and three billion euros. This resource was created by the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership ‘We Are One’ – Altogether Better. It is an e-inventory focusing on the discrimination of minorities in Europe, considering the reasons behind discrimination and what support can be offered to improve the experiences of minority groups. The partner countries include the UK, Spain, Italy and Sweden.
The two resources were gathered by Focus Groups as part of the DIGIT project. The target groups (adult educators, adults and other relevant stakeholders such as digital experts and public body representatives) were brought together to discuss the issues, dangers and opportunities of the digital world. The Focus groups results were illustrated by an infographic and one of the results of the Manifesto is a one-page document comprising 20 useful tips for becoming a responsible digital user and citizen.

Learning to learn is the competency which helps you to learn. We will discuss this competency when you will fill in the questionnaire.
Separation in time and place during the learning process reduces the ability of teachers to observe their students' learning behaviours and provide tailored support. This occurs in blended adult education, which challenges students to learn independently. Possessing self-regulation skills is crucial for success in this context. The study 'An in-depth analysis of adult students in blended environments: Do they regulate their learning in an 'old school' way?' aims to address the self-regulation strategies used by adult students in blended environments.
Digitalisation has long since found its way into all of our lives. From large corporations to small freelancers, it triggers processes everywhere and contributes to the continuous change of our (professional) everyday life.
