Applicant organisation needed for Erasmus + KA2 project on Family Learning

CPIP Romania - Center for Promoting Lifelong Learning is preparing a project application on family learning and needs a promoter for the project who is willing to submit the application at their National Agency. All the administrative and development work will be done by CPIP. The project applicant should have previous experience in coordinating EU funded projects and solid expertise in the field of adult education/basic skills for adults.

El proyecto VET_GPS (Vocational Education Trainning_Guiding tools for Professional Skills), desde su comienzo en octubre de 2017,   desarrolla  un amplio conjunto de herramientas, guías y materiales dirigidos a interesados, estudiantes y profesionales de la formación FP. Se centra en la adquisición, desarrollo y evaluación de habilidades interpersonales por parte de los alumnos que asisten a la formación FP, esencial para su desarrollo personal, participación social y éxito en el lugar de trabajo.

I am leaving EPALE after three years working for this project and wish to thank everybody for your support and readiness to collaborate, first of all the colleagues from CSS, namely Eva, Rumen and Muneeb. You are always available for questions and helpful with your advices. I wish you good luck for the future work with EPALE!

UPDATE ON ROGUE POSTS 2

Good afternoon,

Following on from my message this morning about the spam/rogue discussions and content uploaded this weekend, I am writing to provide you with an update.

We have taken remedial actions today to remove the spam content, to prevent it from appearing on the homepage and to close down the underlying issue. This is related to EU Login. We will take it  forward with DIGIT tomorrow.

Rovnosť vzdelávacích príležitostí môže podporiť dlhodobý inkluzívny hospodársky rast a sociálnu kohéziu. Úspešné vzdelávacie politiky dávajú jednotlivcom príležitosť využiť svoj plný potenciál a užívať si plody svojej práce bez ohľadu na prostredie, v akom sa narodili. Avšak, ako ukazuje táto správa, príliš veľa detí, študentov a dospelých zo socioekonomicky znevýhodneného prostredia zaostáva. V mnohých krajinách existujú medzi študentmi na opačných koncoch socio-ekonomického spektra značné rozdiely v štúdijných výsledkoch.

We would like to share our plan of action. In order to stop posting of spam we deactivated account creation so no new spam accounts can be created. We are now tracking down all the spam users and blocking them so no new spam content could be posted.

NSS Malta noticed that the top discussions at the hompage do not belong to EPALE and the comments are not related to adult learning/education. Moreover, may comments have been automatically posted by fake profile users on EPALE. I have contacted helpdesk via email. I also wanted to check with other NSSs if they are experiencing the same problems/comments on EPALE. Please do let us know as we would like to solve this as soon as possible.

Creativity in the English language classroom to bezpłatny materiał do pobrania, udostępniony przez British Council, zawierający kolekcję rozdziałów dotyczących różnych aspektów kreatywności w uczeniu się i nauczaniu języków obcych. Celem publikacji jest pokazanie, że kreatywność może być integralną częścią każdego aspektu zajęć językowych, na każdym poziomie zaawansowania. Dotyczy to zarówno wszystkich grup wiekowych uczniów jak i samych nauczycieli, tworzenia materiałów językowych czy szkolenia nauczycieli.

Half of all the migrants in Ireland have English as their second language while 10% have a high level of English language. Then, says Dr Philida Schellekens, there is a ‘middle group’ who need ESOL teachers to activate their English and enable a positive language learning experience for them.
Basic knowledge of the host society's language, history, and institutions is indispensable to integration, enabling immigrants to acquire this basic knowledge is essential to successful integration. Efforts in education are critical to preparing immigrants, and particularly their descendants, to be more successful and more active participants in society.

This handout was presented in May 2017 in the framework of the Erasmus+ project "Cultural Diversity: Practices of Parental Education" and gives an overview of foreign population in Austria by citizenship, asylum applications, countries of origins and approaches for a better protection of refugees.

 

The paper presents a set of indicators for the financing of adult learning in Europe that were developed in the FinALE project (http://www.financing-adult-learning.eu/). The indicators take the proposal of the EU Thematic Working Group on financing adult education a step further, aiming to  provide a framework for collecting and presenting the quantitative evidence to support the case for investment in adult education.
