As part of EPALE's monthly focus on digital and e-learning, EPALE's Thematic Coordinators got together to discuss two important questions:

  1. What are the success factors in using digital tools in basic skills learning?
  2. What is needed at the level of the adult learning professional, the institution level and the policy level to make use of these digital tools?

EPALE's Thematic Coordinators Simon Broek, Gina Ebner, David Mallows, and Zoltán Várkonyi from the European Basic Skills Network shared their thoughts.

    Hi there,

About this point, it seems important to share here a set of twenty activities for promoting the digital skills of the adults we developped last year in Portugal.

They are written just in Portuguese language, but using the Google translation tools, one can get an idea about the content in the website done for sharing those ressources: http://aprendercomtecnologias.ie.ulisboa.pt

Please let us know what do you think on it.

    Best regards

    Fernando

maybe you could get involved in our online written discussion this Thursday and explain more about the project.

On 23 March 2017 EPALE is organising an online written discussion on how digital learning can be used in the Upskilling Pathways initiative. The discussion will take place on EPALE between 2:00pm and 5:00pm CET. To take part in the discussion, log into your EPALE account and click here.
