The Green Spider Network (GSN) is a network of heads of communication and information officers from environment ministries and national environmental agencies across Europe. The network was established in 1995 by the European Commission. It is a forum for sharing information, ideas and best practices and it provides a platform for developing coordinated ways in which European environment policies can most effectively be communicated to target groups. DG Environment uses the network as a channel for involving national institutions in its own communication activities. Read more in the Framework document.
The network members meet twice a year to exchange experiences and ideas.
