Increase awareness of Horeca customers for Food waste
14% of food waste is caused on food service level. By cooperating with customers regarding the implementation of doggy bags for restaurants METRO Cash & Carry raises awarness for the value of food among restaurants and end-consumers.

100% of Horeca customers will be approached at the end of 2020. An annual event will take place in all stores to raise awareness. A toolkit will be available for all customers The aim is to create a HoReCa customer community to share the best practices.
