In 2015, we continued the process of reducing the materials used concerning primary packaging and shipping boxes of controlled and own brand products. In this sense, we have made small changes in the primary packaging of certain own brand products with the objective of reducing the quantities of plastic and cardboard used in the packages. Simultaneously, we have continued to work together with our suppliers in order to find innovative solutions and to raise awareness about the importance of reducing the use of cardboard and plastic in the shipping boxes.
In 2015 we managed to significantly reduce packaging materials (e.g., coffee capsules, natural yogurt Slim 0%, Continente pizzas).
