Initiative for a waste collection system in Lidl's logistic centers, which helps to reduce the amount of residual waste by approximately 50% and simultaneously increases recyclables. The collection system guides employees to sort and separate waste into different fractions to ideally prepare it for further recycling. The initiative includes thorough training of employees to raise awareness for the benefits of waste sorting.
