The bio-wastes issued from the hypermarkets are gathered and treated in methanation factories which transform them in biogas. Uncluttered then transformed in biométhane fuel, this biogas is then distributed in stations to supply the delivery trucks of Carrefour.
This virtuous approach is reducing considerably the environmental impact of merchandise deliveries of Carrefour stores: the bio-fuel reduce the phenomenon of greenhouse gas, without fine particles produced by the truck.
