2016: ICA implemented the (Climate-right) project “Klimaträtt” aimed to motivate more people to live more climate right, by having access to climate right solutions, information and inspiration. Climate guided recipes: With over 17,000 recipes and 2.4 million visits per week, ica.se is Sweden’s single largest food website. Climate guidance was added to the recipes on ica.se. The recipes are given one, two or three leaves symbolizing how good they are from a climate perspective. The calculations are based on a scientific method developed in partnership with Chalmers University of Technology. At year-end 2016 more than 2,500 recipes had climate guidance, and in the future all new recipes will be graded from a climate perspective. The climate guided recipes are also available for customers at store level via the brochure “Climate right – easy & delicious”.
