Ahold Delhaize will continue decreasing the carbon footprint of its facilities (stores, warehouses and offices), by utilizing latest building materials and technology, monitoring usage of energy and refrigerants, and installing energy efficient technologies. We are aiming to decrease energy(electricity and all on site fuels) consumption per sales area, control refrigerant leakages and gradually move towards natural refrigerants and more eco friendly transportation.
