EROSKI in collaboration with the National Centre for Renewable Energies (CENER) developed plan for a supermarket that’s on its way to energy self- sufficiency. This initiative is part of a pioneering project in Europe that will have an innovative regeneration system capable of supplying combined cooling, heat and power (CCHP) from locally-sourced biomass, thereby drastically reducing consumption from the electrical mains.
