By signing the Greenpeace Detox campaign, Kaufland INT recognizes the urgent need for eliminating all releases of hazardous chemicals within its global supply chain and the products it sells as well as the need for new responsible business models and resource stewardship.
Kaufland will ban 11 toxic chemical groups from its private label production as well as own imports of all apparel, footwear products, and home textiles. Waste water analyses and audits will display the process progress.
