“Zero deforestation” in order to secure supplies, wood paper, pulp products, and products using agriculture commodities (palm, soy) must not come from: 1) illegal sources, 2) forest areas where traditional or civil rights are violated due to land conflict, 3) forests with threatened High Conservation Values (HCVs), 4) natural forest or peat lands cleared for plantation or other use, 5) genetically modified (GM) trees and 6) threatened species listed by IUCN Red list & CITES.
